Last week we filmed our game demo's, uploaded and converted those demos on viddler, posted the film on our wiki and submitted our entries to the stem game competition. Please answer the questions concerning the process:
Should you have practiced your script more?
I feel that our script was fine, although we should have done some touch ups on our actual presentation.
Did you feel prepared to film?
I felt prepared as far as the speaking and presenting goes, but I feel like we could have prepared our presentation a little better.
Overall how do you feel about the finished demo film?
I feel fairly well about it as a whole. The filming went smoothly and so did the actual demonstration of the game and presentation.

Weekly Blog 3-2 to 4-1-11
This week we have been working on the Team Pages, combining our games, fixing the code and adding scenes to the team games. In two to three complete sentences write a post about your experiences for this weeks assignment. Respond to one of your classmates.
Putting everything together that we have been working on up to this point has been fun. It was nice to get everything put together like it will be in the end and to see how well our game has been developed. I enjoyed putting it all together and correcting all the code.

This week we spent working on our games. Tell me what progress you have made? Some of you expressed an interest in demonstrating tutorials, if so have you made any progress, in this area?
This week I continued working on making the drag and drop to make things snap to locations. I've not had much luck in my trials, but I will continue working on it until it is figured out completely.

This week we had a demonstration on how to use buttons to stop and start sounds. Did you find this demonstration useful. Explain why you might want viewers to be able to turn on or turn off music in your game.
Think about a demonstration you would like to have shown in the class room. Tell me whether or not you would be willing to find the information for and demonstrate how to complete the category of your choice.
I found the demonstration to be somewhat useful. We could possibly use it in the game to start and stop the theme song that we will be adding. I would like to have a demonstration about drag and drop that goes more in depth than just making kittens disappear into a house. If I were to find the correct information to make things "snap to" positions and someone were in need of it, I could do the demonstration.

We completed the Artifiical Intelligence section of the curriculum. How did you like this section? Did you have any problems, if so explain what section you had the problem in? Do you think that this session had useful tutorials and demonstrations that you might use in your game?
I enjoyed the section very much. I didn't encounter very many problems during the actual tutorial except having to pause the movie and going back to re-watch the parts that I missed. I think the session has been very useful and it explained everything very clearly. I don't think there will be many ways to incorporate it into Joe the Plumber, but you never know.

Write a Blog post about the Jumping and Platform topic, share your learning experience! Were the instructions clear? Were their any instructions you felt were missing. Were you able to finish the tutorial? Will you use this tutorial in your game? If you will use Jumping and Platforms, please describe how you will use it.
I found that doing this tutorial has been a very good learning experience for me and that it could be very useful for me in the future if I ever want to create a flash game on my own time. I did not finish the project completely, but I have gotten most of it done. I don't think that we will be able to include the lesson in our game however.

Write a blog about the timer category that we went over on the Globaloria curriculum. Tell me how you would use this in your team game. How could you make the timer go faster? How would you rate this tutorial using a number from 1 to 10; 10 being the best and 1 being the lowest rating. Tell me why you gave it the rate you used.
We have found that we can use the timer during the mini-game that we are implementing in our normal game. To make the timer faster, you would simply need to change a the numbers in the coding to speed it up, slow it down, lengthen or shorten it. I would rate the overall tutorial a 10 because everything was very thorough and easy to understand.
