Week Blog 12-14 to 12-17

I have found a .swf file that I enjoyed very much. It is a version of the same basic game we created, only a little more simplistic and with a much more enjoyable background. You can visit the creator's page by clicking here.

Weekly Blog 12-08 to 12-10

I think that our game would most likely not be considered a Civics game, but it may be considered a STEM game. Here are some ideas for games that might be considered both Civics and STEM: A game about a man traveling through time in search of a way home while answering trivia questions. You are a mad scientist has an accident while conducting an experiment and needs you to balance equations for him to put everything back in order. You are a student in who is determined to leave math class early but in order for your teacher to give you permission, you must answer a series of questions to prove you know your stuff. A super villain has launched his attack on the United States and your the only one who knows his weakness of United States history, you must use your knowledge to put the villain back in jail where he belongs. And finally, you are a brave plumber with the name of Joe, the town has had a mud slide and is now blocking the river that powers the city. You must use your plumbing skills to re route the water pipes to the water wheel and to continue to power the city.

Do you like working in flash?
I enjoy working in flash alot.

Why or why not?
As long as I can remember I have loved playing video games and I have always been fascinated with computers, coding, and making electronic things work. Now that I am in this class, I have the opportunity to do all of these things at once.
